You know what’s insane? My post “Never Again: A Gingerbread Adventure” is the most popular all-time post on this site. Right now, it is getting about a kajillion hits per day, while my heartfelt personal updates get only a handful. *sob*
Truth is, I haven’t been able to keep this blog up to my normal quality standards for a while — since I started back to work this fall. I’ve thought of just shutting the thing down, but I don’t think I will. Every once in a while, someone tells me I’ve written something that was meaningful to them, or helped them in some way — or I get some nice compliment from a reader — so that keeps me going.
I hope to have something meaningful or enlightening to say very soon, but until then you will have to content yourselves with my mindless blathering.

I totally relate, YogaMum! I’ve contemplated doing away with my blog, too, since starting back to work… but I think I would miss it – don’t you?
Hope you are having a wonderful holiday season! I’m looking forward to January WoYoPracMo, when I might actually have time to be present in the community over there again!

It’s always nice to hear your “voice” online. You don’t always have to give us something meaningful or enlightening. Just hearing about what you’ve been up to is lovely.

Please don’t stop! I’d miss you far too much.
If it’s any comfort, my biggest crowd-puller is my post on lemon drizzle cake.

There’s nothing wrong with mindless blathering or with heartfelt personal updates. Both have their place.
I’m very glad you aren’t shutting down the blog, I enjoy reading your updates once a week when I open Bloglines.

I seem to have the same problem in terms of keeping things going and I do have the temptation to just quit…But I won’t! And I’m glad you aren’t…

i hadn’t read the gingerbread story till you linked to it now and i see why it’s so popular – it’s hilarious! I also liked you short entry this past week about some cleaning tip on removing, was it crazy glue or something? something. but you see, it was enjoyable.
cheers,
Arturo

I have to say, I can not agree with you in 100%, but that’s just my opinion, which could be very wrong.
p.s. You have a very good template . Where did you find it?
