Nona at Everyday Yogini was kind enough to nominate me for Lauren’s “Meme It Forward” — a day when yogis dedicate their yoga practice to another blogger. Today was the day when people dedicated their practices to me, and I will say that I am feeling unusually peaceful and serene, despite a day that totally got away from me scheduling-wise, being behind on an editing job, and the fact that my brand-new washing machine broke. I am definitely feeling the love, people, so thank you very very very much!!
If you would like to participate in this love-spreading meme:
- 1. Dedicate your next practice to the designated blogger.
2. Check back with the designated blogger’s website/blog the next day to see how they experienced the power of group karma.
3. The designated blogger then chooses the next designated blogger (Tag!) and posts this text along with the day on which the Meming it Forward will occur. The only caveat is that the designated blogger cannot turn around and Meme it Forward to the blogger from whom their own tag was received. In other words, if I tag you, you can’t simply tag me back, lest we go round and round in circles.
4. Participants are encouraged to comment here to indicate their intention to participate, but one can, of course, participate without revealing that fact publicly.
5. If anything is missing, logically or logistically, from the procedure delineated, please note it here.
There are so many people I’d like to dedicate a practice to, but for this one I’ll pick Lilalia, whose generous, poetic spirit and beautiful collages never fail to brighten my day. If you would like to participate, please dedicate your yoga or mediation practice to Lilalia on Thursday, Feb. 7, as tomorrow is a moon day according to Tim Miller’s site and many ashtangis won’t be practicing. Leave a comment here if you’d like to be a part of this and please do check out Lilalia’s lovely blog.

I am so glad you felt it. I certainly felt it when I was practicing… For every posture I was in, I offered you the benefit, ie: heart opening, relaxation, ability to breath into the edges, moments of great ease and comfort, etc… Then during meditation, I did metta soley for you and your family.
My thoughts will continue to go with you and your family, YogaMum…

What a lovely idea. This evening’s yoga with my daughter will be dedicated to you, Mike, your mother, and your pathetic broken down washing machine. I thought I might tell my daughter, in between asanas, stories of your blog, your love of good food, yoga, your Ricky Ricardo shirt-wearing husband, and the great woyoprac community your initiated. You are an inspiration to many. Wouldn’t it be nice if all those people around you and your washing machine in particular would accordingly offering you the right amount of respect?
I am touched to being tagged.

I would love to be a part of this and I will dedicate my practice to Lilalia tomorrow. Also I would like to add you to my block roll. I love your site. I will be off line for a week beginning Sunday. My thoughts are with you Yogamum.
