The lovely Charlotte (of whom I am a little bit in awe) tagged me for another meme a couple of weeks ago. I dithered and dathered (not a word, is it?) and just couldn’t seem to finish. Then (Un)RelaxedDad tagged me for the same meme. Okay, guys, I’ll do it, I’ll do it! I can take a hint. Here goes:
The instructions are:
List one fact, word or tidbit that is somehow relevant to your life for each letter of your first or middle name. You can theme it to your blog or make it general. Then tag one person for each letter of your name.
I’ve been working on this one for several days, and kept getting stuck. Since I am still trying to maintain some semblance of pseudonymity (that should be a word, if it’s not), I will use my blogging name here:
Y: Yoga. Obviously. Yoga is one of my passions, and it has transformed my life. I’m still very much a beginner at yoga, still learning, but I can’t imagine my life without it.
O: Oxygen. Here in Colorado, we have less of it than folks living at sea level. Breathing deeply and mindfully is something I try accomplish at some point during every day.
G: Gin & tonics. As my friend Sparky pointed out in the comments to a previous post, “Deep breathing helps, but gin & tonics work better.” I’m not a frequent drinker, but I do find that the judicious use of g&t’s helps to keep me from going off the deep end.
A: Anonymous Husband. My husband’s real name happens to start with “A.” He’s one of the most brilliant people I know, is a very loving, wonderful father and my very best friend in the whole world.
M: Motherhood. My full-time job and my greatest commitment in life.
U: Uninspired. That’s how I feel about the words beginning with the letter U.
M: Making stuff. Whether I’m working on novels, cheesecakes, or (occasionally) scarves, I’m always happiest when I’m living a creative life.
Gosh, now I have to tag seven people. Aaagh (closing eyes and wildly pointing into cyberspace)!!!!!
Tim (c’mon, that should be easy)

Hi,
I have made the decision to move to Denver. I took a class at Samdi this week. What studios do you think I should check out?

Haha! I missed this. Came looking to tag you for something else and lookee what I find!
If I tag you back, it means you don’t have to think too hard to come up with something to write about for one day this next week. That’s good, right?
Consider yourself tagged for the Seven Things meme.

This is cool and fun! you can tell how far behind I am in blog-reading, since I just came across this! (Hmmm, yeah, Tim has a definite advantage.)
